Exercise 13. Vertical and Horizontal Frames.

The first part of this exercise was to take twenty pictures vertically. It was suggested to use a compact location. With this in mind I started in the garden then walked around the nature reserve which is close by.
After loading and viewing the pictures on my computer I then repeated the exercise taking the same pictures in an horizontal format.
Below are all of my pictures in both vertical and Horizontal.

In conclusion

I found this exercise interesting but I was not that impressed with some of my results. When taking a vertical image in a horizontal frame, I found that I am quite predictable and usually fit the image to the left hand side of the frame.
I have tried to vary this taking some of the pictures in the middle of the frame which I am not very keen on. I also tried to angle the subject and was particularly pleased with the garden chair.
