Exercise 10. Focal lengths and different viewpoints

I took two pictures of this mast on the beach.

Starting of with a 300mm lens @ F22 1/100.
I then changed to a 35mm lens and walked towards the mask until it filled the frame similar to the first picture. This was took @ F22 1/50.
The two photos are quite different in character the horizon is much lower down on the second picture and carries much more foreground than the first picture. The first picture looks nearer although it was taken the furthest away. The second picture being the opposite.

I much prefere the first picture without the cluttered foreground.
